JSR-286: Portlet Specification 2.0 for Portal and Portlet Developers
The new Portlet Specification 2.0 JSR-286 brings exciting new features and resolves many of the shortcomings of the first version JSR-168. Alignment with J2EE 1.4 and WSRP 2.0, integration with other JSRs like JSR-188, Portlet coordination, events, filters, resource serving, AJAX support, all the new features will be introduced and explained what it means for Portal and Portlet developers. Especially the current shortcomings and limitations of the first version will be discussed and how you can solve them with the new specification.
