Interested in starting or participating in an open source project? Here are some things ways to make sure that your project will fail or have an unhealthy community. Once you know what not to do, you'll have an easier time figuring out what you should do. We'll be looking at patterns at varying degrees of scale, from the individual level up to the level of determining the governance of a new open source project.
