Are you new to an Apache project? Do you ever wonder: Why are decisions made on mail lists? Can somebody please, pretty please, delete that post I shouldn't have sent? How can I contribute if I'm not a committer? How can I become a committer? Should I file an ICLA? or a CCLA? or both? Why do some contributions require a software grant, but others don't? Who (really) controls an Apache project? And how does anyone figure any of this out, anyhow? This session provides practical tips on how to become productively involved.
