Apache Derby - Saucer Separation
Detach the top half of the Derby engine and use it to filter, sort, and zipper together arbitrary data sets that live outside Derby. In this session you will learn how to write Derby Function Tables, small scraps of code which make your data look like SQL tables. Filter, sort, and zipper together your XML documents. Also learn how to use this technology to migrate and integrate external data into Derby.
