Apache MINA - The High-Performance Protocol Construction Toolkit
This session will provide an introduction to Apache MINA (Multipurpose Infrastructure for Network Applications). After a high-level overview of the project, you will be walked through the process of constructing a protocol using MINA. You will learn how to test and debug the this custom protocol, as well as leverage facilities MINA provides for flow control, compression, and SSL. We will also go over how to optimize the use of MINA in production environments, from application tuning to best practices and finally system monitoring via JMX.
