Building a Vertical Search Site Using Apache Software
This talk will cover how Krugle used Nutch, Hadoop, Lucene, Solr, Apache, Hibernate, ANTLR, MySQL, Jetty/Resin, and a host of other open source projects to create a vertical search engine for code and technical information. In a little over a year we went from start to live, no content to over a billion lines of open source code, one server to more than a hundred - all using open source code.
