Ora Lassila

Ora Lassila is a Research Fellow at the Nokia
Research Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he
pursues projects involving the Semantic Web, mobile
devices, and ubiquitous computing. He is widely
recognized as one of the pioneers of the Semantic Web.
Earlier, he has held positions at Massachusetts
Institute of Technology, Carnegie Mellon University
and Helsinki University of Technology, as well as
being an entrepreneur and a venture capitalist. He is
the author of "Wilbur", an open-source toolkit for
Semantic Web applications.
