| Laura Thomson works for Mozilla Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer. She was formerly a Principal at OmniTI and has more than ten years experience in the internet industry as a software engineer, consultant, strategist, and trainer. She is the co-author of the best-selling "PHP and MySQL Web Development" (Sams Publishing) and "MySQL Tutorial" (MySQL Press) and has reviewed and edited a number of books on other topics including PHP, PostgreSQL, Software Engineering, and Ruby on Rails. Her work has received and been nominated for a number of awards. Laura holds degrees in Computer Science and Computer Systems Engineering from RMIT University. | |
