A gentle introduction to the Apache Portable Runtime
This training session introduces practical exercises for developing cross plataform applications with the Apache Portable Runtime. The following functionalities will be covered: resource management (memory pools), data structures (array, hash, table, ring, queue, bucket and brigades), I/O (filesystem and network), process and thread management (conditions and mutexes), shared memory and DBM/SQL databases.
