Abstract

Messaging and asynchronous processing are two cornerstones to building high volume, scalable systems. AMQP & Qpid provide a robust framework to support these constructs. Learn how to implement qpid and support real world scenarios in a low latency high volume environment.

Focusing on real world scenarios, this session will explore the configuration and tooling necessary to build a production quality low latency AMQP implementation using Qpid. Leveraging a network of brokers, we will demonstrate broker federation for routing, failover and scalability. We will discuss monitoring and support a Qpid implementation in a production environment with examples. We will provide an overview on integrating Qpid into emerging technologies such as Big-Data, node.js and mobile.
