Nick is a veteran software developer, whose work since the 1990s has focused primarily on the Standards and Infrastructure of the Web. Within the Apache community his major contribution is to the HTTPD web server, where he has championed its use as an applications platform, and is author of the Apache Modules Book, the only published developer-oriented book on HTTPD 2.x.
