This session will discuss the integration points between the Cassandra distributed database and the Hadoop project. One of the most significant is the ability to run map/reduce jobs across data found in Cassandra, which is the primary focus of the session. The recent addition of basic Pig query support will also be discussed. The format of the session will largely be a tutorial for when and how to use map/reduce against Cassandra.
