The Apache Geronimo project has long focused on providing lightweight, customizable Java EE server runtimes. This focus has continued in our new 3.0 release. In addition to our new support for Java EE 6, Geronimo 3.0 is now built from an OSGi kernel and adds support for OSGi Enterprise applications. In this session, we will review the new features in Geronimo 3.0 and discuss best practices for configuring, running, and administering Geronimo 3.0 servers.
