ApacheCon US 2007 - Returns to the East Coast!

THE APACHE SOFTWARE FOUNDATION OFFERS EARLY REGISTRATION INCENTIVES FOR APACHECON US 2007 CONFERENCE

Leading Open Source Community Returns to the East Coast to Address Key Technologies, Products, Opportunities, Tools, and Trends

FOREST HILL MD – 30 July 2007 – ApacheCon US 2007, the official conference, trainings, and expo of the Apache Software Foundation (ASF), today announced that registration is now open with Early Bird and Conference Package incentives through 29 September 2007.

The global conference series delves into the highly lauded community that develops and shepherds industry-leading Open Source projects, including Apache HTTP Server – the world's most popular Web server software for more than a decade. ApacheCon offers participants the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Open Source methodologies and further advance their participation with like-minded peers in a relaxed, community-focused environment.

Returning to the East Coast for the first time in seven years, the conference will be held 12-16 November 2007 at the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta, Georgia. As with previous ApacheCon US events, the week will begin with training sessions on Monday and Tuesday, followed by the main conference Wednesday through Friday.

  • Full-Conference-Plus-Hotel Package – Save Up To $500 (USD): A special opportunity to save even more with an all-access pass that covers your Full Conference and expo (Wednesday through Friday) attendance (Trainings excluded) when registered with a minimum two (2)-night stay at the Westin Peachtree. It includes all evening events, conference meals for all three days, attendance to all sessions and to the exhibit hall. Take an extra $150 off Full Conference registration fee (through 22 October 2007), with total savings up to $500 (USD) when signing up during the Early Bird timeframe.
  • Full Conference – Save Up To $350 (USD): All-access pass that covers your full attendance at the conference and expo (Wednesday through Friday; Trainings excluded). It includes all evening events, daily conference meals, attendance to all sessions and to the exhibit hall.
  • Trainings – Save Up To $100 (USD): This is a limited pass that covers your attendance in the registered session(s) on Monday and/or Tuesday only. Luncheon is included in the fee. Please note that registering for Trainings will not allow you access to any conference sessions or events on Wednesday through Friday. Save up to $100 (USD) per session.
  • Hotel Discount – Save Up To 60% Off Rack Rates: Our special ApacheCon conference rate at the beautiful, 73-story landmark Westin Peachtree Hotel reflects savings up to $300 per night. Includes complimentary Internet access in sleeping rooms.
  • Academic/Student Discount – Save 20%: All-access pass includes evening events, conference meals for all three days, attendance to all sessions and to the exhibit hall. This discount is limited to Full Conference registration only and cannot be applied towards Training sessions.
